Face Lift
It is extremely common for the skin on the face to gradually loosen and sag over time, creating wrinkles, jowls, and droopiness beneath the eyes. Among the facelift surgery candidates we see, we note that excessive sun exposure and fluctuations in weight can speed this process, often making people look years older than they are. When we do a facelift, it is intended to restore a smooth, youthful appearance to our patients by lifting and removing excess facial skin and tightening the underlying muscles.

At our practice, we will help you to decide whether you are a good candidate for a facelift. If so, to perform a facelift, the surgeon will first make small, careful incisions along the chin, ears, and hairline. Next, he will lift and tighten the skin and underlying musculature in the optimum direction and trim away excess tissue. Finally, the surgeon stitches the remaining skin in place. Brow Lift
At our practice, we see that many people over time develop deep horizontal creases across the forehead, pinched furrows above the nose, or heavy, drooping eyebrows. Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
Many patients arrive at our practice with heavy, drooping upper eyelids or puffy bags beneath the eyes that can make them look tired or older than they really are. For these patients, eyelid surgery can restore a more youthful, alert appearance by removing excess skin and fat from the eyelids. It can also help improve vision if sagging eyelids are interfering with sight.

During eyelid surgery at we make discreet incisions along the eyelids to remove the excess fat and skin. We then tighten and stitches closed the remaining tissue. In cases where only fat - no skin - needs to be removed from the lower lids, we can enter through a transconjunctival incision (within the eyelid) with no external incisions. Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty)
Many people arrive to our offices wanting to change the way their nose looks. In fact, rhinoplasty, or surgery to reshape the nose, is one of the most commonly requested plastic surgery procedures among our patients. Through rhinoplasty, we can reduce or increase nose size as well as change the shape of the tip or bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the angle between the nose and upper lip. They can also correct a birth defect or injury, or help relieve breathing problems such as a deviated septum.

When we perform a rhinoplasty procedure, we make small incisions around the nostril rims, precisely trims extra cartilage from the nasal bump or the round tip, then we narrows the flattened bridge by carefully cutting and resetting the nasal bones. Dr. Sohi offers a wide range of facial implants to enhance facial features. Facial implants can be used alone, but are often incorporated with other facial cosmetic surgery procedures such as a facelift, rhinoplasty, brow lift, or eyelid surgery.

Facial implants add contour to the facial structure and create more attractive proportions. They are commonly used for the chin, jaw, and cheeks. Facial implant surgery is performed on an outpatient basis at our state-of-the-art cosmetic surgery center. A similar procedure is performed for most facial implants: a small incision is made (often inside the mouth) near the location of implant, the implant is inserted, and the incisions are sutured for healing. Cosmetic Ear Surgery (Otoplasty)
Otoplasty cosmetic surgery, also referred to as ear shaping or ear pinning, can correct protruding or deformed ears for children and adults. Many parents choose to have their children's ears pinned at an early age, usually between four and fourteen, to prevent ridicule during adolescence. However, many adults also request otoplasty to correct misshapen or oversized ears. Otoplasty is a relatively simple plastic surgery procedure involving the removal of excess cartilage and/or skin through a very small incision created behind the ears.
